Still, Revan only wanted a glass of water. Even dark lords need to eat and drink. And often times it was required in public so one always had to be prepared.
Unlike other dark lords, though, he wasn't brimming with the urge to mass murder. Instead, he was gifted with that trait called curiosity. Generally, he'd remove the information from someone's brain via the Force by....force. But alcohol and a friendly environment suited just as well.
