The Timeskip Check-In Meme

With the game entering the second half of the timeskip, so many characters are getting involved in a lot of different things and changing in so many ways, not to mention changing things in the Drabwurld. But with so much activity, it's hard to know what's really going on and who's doing what. This meme is designed to not only to update the playerbase of what your character is up to, but also plot out anything you'd like to accomplish and thread out during the second half.

look, if he mentioned it shapeshifted into a flying lizard, he could deal. scar on his face? from a dragon. WE CAN'T REALLY BE FRIENDS WHEN THIS BABY IS AROUND, LANCE.

but lmk when you want to rock and roll with the lock thing! lancelot already knows what he does with locks and he can even hear something from the cows mooing in caer glaem about him trying to make something that's impossible to break into if you need a lead in there! luke can even approach lancelot and ask him if he's got any of those unseelie traps on him because he's bored (because normal people of course keep the enemy's booby traps on hand. w2g luke.)

... and his ancient af snakes will gladly look after the dragon if you're so worried. feed george rats and martha affection!!

Also! If you're interested, I did think about maybe some sort of ~mission~ for Luke! The unseelie spires make up some sort of shield/anti unseelie deal and Lance is curious about it. He wouldnt want it broken RIGHT NOW that isnt tactical, but he'd want to see if he thought it possible and in general if it seemed a big deal or not

Idk enough about his canon to know if weird magic shields generated by multiple towers are his deal or not WHAT DYOU THINK

OH MY GOD WHY DO YOU ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS.

i honestly have no idea since he's just locks on doors and safes, so i would say small, mundane things like cracking into lancelot's diary is where his canon abilities currently lie. in his canon, the camp was guarded by a "shield', which happened to be thalia's tree (she was turned into a tree and somehow this ended up protecting the camp, possibly in the style the spires are!), so, he's not completely unfamiliar! i just don't think he can break them -- at least, he's not at a level he'd be able to crash bandicoot through them if that's what you're after. i think it's something he can work toward if working with your shard enhances your abilities in that way?

but he also has the means of finding out y/n (and maybe even the types of magic being used? i'm not sure there, but he's legit google on two legs) with his cows and foxes -- and he wouldn't say no to trying to blow the spires up with the staff of hermes ... (which i know cannot happen but, you know, he has his ways!) BASICALLY, YEAH, LANCELOT IT'S WORTH LOOKING INTO. that's what he'd say without even needing to creep up on the spires.

i'm sure his dad invented something. if not, there's probably a greek myth out there about this somewhere.

LMAO BUT if you're interested I could check this with Sin and the mods and see what they say and assign it? Either as a quest or if you cba with wordcount/influence and just want something to be doing a thing to dick around threading with someone else as friendly sidekick. It'd just be like 'try and investigate this thing without triggering 500 alarms and making them make it twice as strong at the first sign of danger okay also don't take clarisse in case she bulldozers directly through it'

i absolutely am! i'm trying to get luke learning some magic so he can take this lock business a little further -- and this only helps with that! i've been waiting for something to do with him this month so thank you very much! still not babysitting the dragon.

but only like an hour ago i asked gadgets about a quest so i don't think i'm allowed to double up or anything for influence. either way, though! i'd love to do it. it doesn't have to be an official quest or anything since i'm sure luke would work on it gradually during the timeskip -- it honestly depends on all the details. he's bored enough to do it and it means he won't piss off people in leathann if he's busy doing something For The Greater Good. i'm hoping to get him a specific boon so maybe that will help with this or for future things regarding this.

why take her when he has the next best thing? he'll take lancelot so they can hold hands

but if we can do it, that'd be great! i want luke doing more security/curse/shieldy type stuff and this is definitely a good step to getting into that!

I am finally getting around to this, I do apologize. I'd love to do some trading/meeting/befriending threads with these two as she'll try to get him some supplies, food, and all manner of things from Treun to be sent to I Othrann-in-Heneb with him. Especially with the elf/vampire tensions, I'd love to really get her involved with seeing other elves, knowing more of Aragorn's world, and wanting to keep them safe. Also I'd love for them to eventually be friends!

No problem! We can certainly set something up! Aragorn needs more friendly Elves on his side (there are tensions amongst the Elves over having a Human Lord, which is pretty understandable). He just wants what's best for them and for the Elves from other worlds. (He has a soft spot for all Elves.)

Aragorn's a good guy. Come February of timeskip, Lavellan's friend Cullen has been informing her about the elven murders in Parrais and the tensions going on there, and she's met with the Brucolac a few times in the hopes of solving the vampire/elf crisis. So long as someone is helping the elves directly, even if she'd be surprised it was a human, she's 100000% for it.
