He crouches, bare-foot, by a solitary flower growing through the cracks in the cobblestone. He laughs while reverently touching the flower petals. There are other flowers near-by but it's this one that draws him more than the others. Maybe it's the fact it grows where it's not supposed to. He takes several minutes to memorize everything about it.
The only thing that breaks him from his little trance is being bumped into by travelers.
02 - Night of the Feast
Caer Scima resembles Kredik Shaw too closely for his comfort. He does not stay for the feast.
Instead, he decides to use up the metals already in his stomach. If even half of what he's heard is true, he'll need to make use of every scrap of allomantic metal. He won't waste them burning them off before sleep.
Besides, what better way to explore such a massive place than by Allomancy? In the courtyard, he drops a coin, burns Steel and shoots up into the air. He takes hold of an anchor on a tower and whips himself ever higher. All without even physically touching the building. He can be seen, bare-foot with the strips of his mistcloak flapping wildly behind him. What he's doing could be mistaken for flying... but it's actually more like controlled falling. He moves in an arch like an insane super-sized flea.
It occurs to him, while he's several stories up, that the local nobility may not take kindly to what he's doing. That thought is reason enough to smile.
If they had any idea, they would have never brought him here.
