Being a Paleblood, an outsider to Yharnam, meant that she was regarded as filth, as the source of the problem for the beast plague. It didn't matter if she was a hunter or not. So the Corinthian's gaze is ignored in favor of at least explaining herself.

There are no humans back home, and therefore she has no idea how to react to people who are normal and not out of their minds. Or worse, turned into beasts. Half of her is still convinced there must be some plague here waiting in the shadows. Why else would they want her here?
