As things are, he was admirably unphased by the bipedal fox serving itself some wine. Not entirely unsurprised, maybe, but he'd seen some shit even before having arrived here. He would have assumed it was just another guest from some place where foxes walking on their hind legs is a thing, but the sign was just frustratingly cryptic enough to provoke curiosity.
So, sitting on the other side of the table, he waits a moment for the fox to finish getting its drink before asking, as politely as possible, "Is that a magic fairyworld riddle kind of thing, or is that just normal where you come from?"
That latter idea did seem like a bit of a stretch, but hey, an infinite number of universes allows for infinite possibilities, worlds where bipedal foxes clothe themselves in nothing but signs with mysterious questions included.
