"this" being the feast to celebrate the new arrivals and thus with a chance to meet someone from republic city. and you'd also think that after her run-in with azula a few weeks ago that she'd be more receptive to the idea of people coming back from the dead, so to speak.

still, korra has just enough tact to keep from blurting that out—even as she spills her own drink in surprise upon hearing that name, whipping around in her seat from just behind tarrlok at another table. she's not sure if tarrlok already knows she's here or not, but given the nature of the castle and the nature of herself, it wouldn't take long before they crossed paths. so hey, this she can blurt out: ]
