for a majority of the time, she can be found at the fringe edges of the party, her arms crossed and a sour look on her face. spending time at an expensive party was not the way korra would choose to spend her time, so it doesn't take long before she's pulling the now well-worn map out of her pocket to look it over, a small ball of flame in her palm to illuminate the writing and make it easier to read. it's a neat parlor trick, and she doesn't seem concerned by the possibility of anyone catching sight of it.
