[The castle was a little more archaic than he was used to, making him feel like he'd walked into a bad renaissance fair. He'd made his rounds and paid particular attention to the types of drinks here, finding one he liked and sticking with it until he'd heard about a station that was like a little bit of transported home. Not entirely, of course, but it was, like a bad ren fair, one of those blips of allowed tech places and he decided to wander down to see what sort of blip it was.
It was large enough for lodgings and seemed to already have tenants, others milling around, some looking like they'd melt if they stepped foot outside the circle set around it. It was still dark when he'd left the castle, so he couldn't be sure if his ring worked here like it did back home, but he was going to assume it did -- until it didn't. So for now, Damon could be found milling around the Station, checking it and its inhabitants out with a pilfered bottle of whatever drink he'd decided he liked as he debated on getting something a little richer from someone and who that might be.
