That sounds simply amazing. I know of a lot of protection spells, but nothing quite so grand or all encompassing - at least, nothing I've actually seen put into practice without a group of people to lend their powers. In my world, or where I come from, there are those born with magic and those without. Some are stronger than others or have aptitude for certain aspects of magics rather than others, but in the magical society we're all supposedly equal.
