I. Seelie Feast

[ On the list of things that Reyna is feeling like enjoying right now, this falls somewhere north of dying but very south of going home and a little bit south of actually fighting to some degree. She can deal with feasts, she doesn't mind them it just— bothers her to be smashed into one so soon after finding herself in a world that isn't hers. If she didn't know any better she'd think this was a dream or maybe Gaea's or the gods way of mocking her, but she knows better. It's as real as her parentage and as real as the entirety of her own life.

She can deal with this feast and she can find out everything she needs to know about what's going on beyond what the faeries and everyone she had asked ( okay maybe demanded answers from ) had given. It's not that she doesn't believe they were telling the truth, but she's a little skeptical and the last thing she wants to deal with is finding out she was being lied to in some way.

Part of her is very thankful she's wearing her toga over her shirt ( not her armor, not yet ) but at the same time, she feels like she's simultaneously under and over dressed. She tries to put on a polite smile while going past people in an attempt to grab a bit of food before she heads out to actually talk to some others. Of course, she can't help but talk under her breath just a bit while she eats. ]

Out of one war and into another with no break. I'm not my mother, I do want a moment to rebuild and breathe.

[ Screw the gods and the monarchs and everyone just in this second, daughter of war or not, this is stupid. ]

II. Wildcard ( Locket )

[ the girl on the locket is about sixteen, but looks just a bit older. she doesn't speak for a moment instead choosing to narrow her eyes and exhale almost as if she's preparing herself to speak. when she does it's clear and her eyes aren't nearly as narrowed as they were. ]

Just how many of you know how to fight? You can count learning after you arrived— or if you knew before then. [ should she explain why on earth she's asking, yeah, she probably should. ] It doesn't make sense to recruit those who don't know how and expect to win a war with limited time to train even with the best of trainers.

III. Wildcard ( Seelie Armoury )

[ Reyna couldn't resist coming down here when she first realized she could. It could be her mother's blood flowing through her that makes her feel strangely at home among the weapons and armor or it could just be her missing home and the cohorts and— she won't dwell on that. Or more accurately, finally seeing the armor makes her a little too distracted to dwell on those thoughts.

In fact really every other thought she had was pushed out and she ended up blurting out something that normally she knows she wouldn't, but she's alone-ish ( probably ) and no one is going to hear her or judge her for it. ]

There is such a thing as too much gold on armor. I'm surprised we don't end up blinding them before they attack.
