I sympathize. We had much the same problems until recently. The kingdom alongside ours was ever greedy for more land, more riches. There were battles fought and blood shed and we held our land. There is no need to sign a 'treaty' when they have no claim to anything but what little they sit on.

There is peace now, but you are right. It might only last a generation. I wish it would last longer, but... humans are... human.
