[She does sense his energies...and wonders what class he's in. Surely not a Saber. Lancer maybe. She matches his gaze. Though it's clear she's not totally happy with it she's not going to attack. In fact, she's thinking more about what food to taste afterwards.]
no subject
[But that she takes no particular offence is good enough, much better than Caster or Saber. So he deems her acceptable for the timebeing. He doesn't kill the creature, though. Something so weak is hardly worth it. Causing it pain is pleasure enough for him, and so he tosses it aside, to the table.
Hopefully another will come along and help it. As it is, there's only a small protest in the back of his mind, the other half which feels guilt for Hyde's cruelty, and being a doctor, could very well help it, if only he could break free.]

I am an artist. Art covers many things--the tragic, the comedic, and of course, the beautiful. Emotion and action varies in the range as well.
[She pours herself another glass of wine. Giving it a quick taste she swallows it quickly down.]
No. It was not beautiful in the way other things are. Tragic, perhaps, but not beautiful.
no subject
[He has no appreciation or regard at all for art or beauty, so it's all bullshit, really. Though self-expression is very important. He'll justify it with anything. Though he does follow suit and pours another glass of wine for himself as well - after pouring out the sludge the fairy turned it into.]
no subject
[It's such a pity, really. She's already pouring herself another round.]
As for your question, haven't you seen another human being? Or even yourself, really.
no subject
What do you mean by that?
[It's a suspicious tone. It isn't the beauty of any sort of sexual partner that interests him. Though it could be argued defiling something beautiful is all the more appealing, whether in the sense of sex or violence. Anything he does, he does only for the act. While the idea of being considered beautiful raises a peculiar disdain within him.]
no subject
[Ah...such, such a pity. Saber loved sexual relations, even her manner of dress should make that obvious. This time she wasn't thinking about it. There was a reason why the Greek and Romans loved the human form. It should be obvious but she's not upset. She's used to explaining her genius, her insight.]
I shall try to be brief.
She raises a hand away from her glass and looks at it. She opens and then closes it.] Look at your hand. You have fingers, a thumb... if you didn't these, would you be able to crush that creature so easily? A wild beast wouldn't be able to. Without human hands you would have no wine to be defiled. Do you see?
no subject
I suppose. But then a beast would use another method.
no subject
No. She would not speak of such things and if she did, she would blame a sickness of the brain rather than her own will.]
What class of Servant are you?
I need to make myself icons WEEPS
Berserker. And yourself?
[The answer comes somewhat reluctantly, but in the end, what's the harm.]
no subject
[It is the best class, suitable for a Roman Emperor.] My blade is the finest instrument, even the muses are in envy of it.
no subject
...Does the name Reiroukan mean anything to you? A child?
no subject
No, it doesn't. There must be a few other different Sabers running around--none as grand as I but other examples of the class nonetheless. I even met a couple of different Berserkers myself.
no subject
A future war, then.
[If there are others, evidently his Master doesn't end up succeeding in that foolish goal of stopping the Grail War. That's good. He smiles in satisfaction with that assumed knowledge.]
No, indeed it's impossible you should be that Saber, that one would have prevented harm to come to anything. In fact, should a Saber not be full of honour? What is a woman so disaffected doing in such a class?
[Being purposefully antagonistic is the right course of action.]
no subject
Why am I a Saber?
[She sets down her glass. Full of honour? She had pride. She had values. She loved her people--her city. Her empire. She was no hero, Saber would readily attest to that, but she was certainly worthy of being summoned.]
No other class would do for a proper emperor. [She lets that slip but does it really matter since this man was a Berserker? He probably wouldn't even remember this conversation in a few moments.] I'm not foolish enough to call myself a hero but when it comes to my skills, the regal Saber class is the only one that suits me.
[If she's honest, she's more suitable for being a Rider but she'd never admit it.]
no subject
[He asks it bluntly, as there's no point in being subtle. If she's going to answer honestly or not, she'll take the same course of action no matter how he poses the question.]
no subject
I dressed as a man for most of my life, that is how history remembered me.
[She takes another drink of wine. What does it matter if some Berserker knew her name? Her praetor wasn't here and their opinion of her was the only reason she hid her name to begin with.]
Nero.
no subject
Hm. [He's surprised to hear it, but it doesn't show at all.] I would never have guessed Nero was a woman. You did well.
[Both in hiding it, and being a fine example of a tyrant.]
no subject
Some women might have found it annoying but I rather liked the style of dress.
[Admittedly, the Roman people wouldn't have been fond of a woman ruling them so it made it a necessity but at least she enjoyed the act.]

no subject
I suppose the people of your time were not exactly geniuses.
no subject
[She loved her people, even after all these years... it wasn't their fault they never did understand her.]
no subject
[Servants? Hedonist types? Well, it's both, really.]
no subject
[Artists are always misunderstood... Hold on.]
What of you? I doubt I have to explain why my views may have chafed many.
