From what I've gathered, it has to do with personality. People in the Unseelie court seem a bit darker in general. You should see the decor in that place.

Personality, hm? I probably know a few people over there then. Have you seen the decor yourself or have you only heard about it from someone who has?

Personal experience unfortunately. The fairies or whoever decided that it would be funny if they just magically sent me over there - into a random girl's room too. She almost attacked me.

[No, Mr Castle, she said you were handsome and smarter-looking than Han. Not more handsome. Despite common misconceptions, she's really rather fond of her scruffy smuggler, dumb faces and all.]

That is unfortunate. You seem well enough now. Was this a while ago or did you escape before she actually harmed you?

[Not that she would have blamed the girl. She might have shot first and asked questions later if she were in a similar situation.]

Yeah I convinced her not to hurt me, seeing as how I wasn't in there hurt her. I got about halfway down the hall before the fairies sent me back where I had come from, but I was still petrified someone was going to be able to tell I was a Seelie and would shank me in the leg.

Well, I'm glad that you were able to reason with her and that you avoided any of the more unseemly Unseelie. The fae seem to like causing mischief and mayhem more than actually doing anything productive. Perhaps that's why this conflict has lasted so long.

Yes. Well, that and the fact that they seem to like recruiting people who have no interest in actually fighting.

I can see how that would prolong things. You'd think they would be more interested in finding those that are willing to assist them, if they're actually trying to gain any ground in this conflict.

One would think, though I guess they can't control who these shards bury themselves into.

Hm, I suppose that is true. Although, there is always the fact that they could do their own fighting.
