[A slight noise of protest comes from her throat as she's lifted, but she only squirms a little, returning the press of lips as she uses the new height to wrap her arms around Korra's shoulders, trusting her to keep her elevated.]
[ and keep her elevated korra does, holding perhaps a bit too tightly at the start as she wants to make sure she won't just let merida slip through her grasp. but with the kiss returned, korra pushes into it with a fair amount of insistence, slooowly letting merida's feet touch the ground again as she bends forward.

[She hums into the kiss as she feels fingers thread through her hair, leaning up on her tiptoes when she's put down again even as Korra meets her part way. Merida nips at Korra's bottom lip, mouth curling into a slight smirk as she pulled back a little, arms still around her shoulders.]
