The kiss is surprising and all too easy to fall into. John presses close because he can't pull away, might as well; one hand has fingers tangled in the length of Thranduil's hair before he thinks better of it. ]

[ His fingers cover John's, keeping them in his own hair as Thranduil slowly works them out of the kiss, lips and tongue sliding free with a final breath. Grey eyes, bright and keen, slit to peer at John, and Thranduil's grin flashes wide before he nips.
