now that I'm not trying to enable you into poor life decisions...

alice is so much fun! I enjoy seeing the whirlwind of emotions that are her threads. it's rare for people to rp types like her and to be able to write all aspects coherently, there's usually a bias towards one side, but you seem to have her rounded out in all aspects. plus I could just lose myself in all your plotting plurks just watching everything.

haha there's no shame in being passionate about your character and sorting through their motivations, especially someone who is fiercely one way or the other. I also failed to mention it (because I thought it should go without saying), but your art plurks are always a lot of fun to see as well. it amazes me personally to see people draw on tablets and go through that entire process like WOW I can't even begin to figure it out for myself

digital art is a pain in the ass. i've been doing it since 2004 when i first bought my wacom tablet. so i say to anyone else don't feel bad about being overwhelmed. it's a lot of experimenting and playing around with it, finding your own style. so if you are still kind of waffling with it, i totally encourage you to keep at it!

also i have many feelings about art. i don't think anyone should ever feel terrible in what they do X(!

haha thank you, maybe once I get a decent tablet I'll try my hand at it again. I used to draw a lot when I was younger, wasn't bad, but then life happened to make me stop. I just haven't tried since then.

so it just warms my heart to see people be passionate about their art and pursue work with it.

honestly? draw stupid things. stupid little doodles until you finally get familiar with coordinating your mind with drawing lines. if i ever get in an artblock, i do doodles like i did with the smut/kink meme. but if you do find yourself getting back into it, you can always come to me! and FTR, there's other tablet makers than wacom with affordable tablets online, so do check it out if you feel like you can. in the meantime, go wild with inane doodles they do help!

nods thank you for the sound advice, I'll work on that. if anything doodles are an excellent time killer at work when I can't think of tags.

I have a tablet right now, but it's not the best. bought it from a friend long ago so I probably just need to invest in better hardware.

if it helps, i actually have a wacom tablet from circa 2008 and i use it sometimes on my windows 8.1!

good programs that run on less RAM and actually are decent are firealpaca amd paint tool SAI. fire alpaca is free and i actually use their android app more than anything on my samsung :)

it blends colors wonderfully and plus the interface is simple!
