iirc they have bundles of bluray dvd rips so there's that nicer quality to watch from. not that ufotable sucks, but there's a significant difference between their aired shows and their blurays.

yeah it's just the way they do things out there. I'd recommend people buy it, but seeing as it costs about $600 for the sets together well... yeah :(
