I can't actually lie, Waver becoming a source of info was in my personal game plan from day one, as I love playing around with how Waver makes up for his lack of power as a mage with just knowing how to play mage politics. There's so much common ground between how home politics work and the Drabwurld that for him it was just "Oh. Well obviously, this is what I do."
