Personality: Small child who is easily influenced and accidentally sold his soul to Satan loves to interact with people, gets changed by them a lot.

Current or future plans: Dorian is currently researching magic and trying to ensure that his portrait is safe. He is also interested in training so he can defend himself. He will probably try to look into ways he can keep his portrait safe outside of Caer Glaem, so he'll be finally turning his eyes away from the court and towards getting land and friends outside of it.

In the very long-term, I plan on a major canon update to his 150 year old hedonist jerkass self. I'm planning to do it after the timeskip if we end up voting to go with that.
Catch-up: Mostly, he has been trying to figure it out and also borrowing a spine from Ratatosk. He is finally kicking into gear in trying to help out.
Desired CR: I'm really interested to see how Dorian will continue to be influenced, so I'd love strong personalities, or even people who would actively attempt to influence him. I also am amused by the idea of CR that will be flabbergasted when he canon updates to his jerkface 150 year old self. Also please someone help him learn that it's okay to have romantic interest in men.
Shipping: Dorian is a very shippable character; it's only natural for him to get crushes on 500 people. However, Dorian's love life pretty much always crashes and burns, so ships are likely to end in catastrophe. Not to mention he will wreck them all once I do that canon update.

Waver, you're great. Dorian will definitely be looking to both get to know Waver more and sort of suss out whether or not he can trust him because there is nothing like having a soul in a magic portrait to make you paranoid about what happens to the thing, and he knows Waver would be a great neutral buddy for helping get that to safety if it came to it.

Waver will let Dorian know the political side of him rather happily.

Also he can happily keep an eye on a terrifying portrait, once he knows his own home is safe.

Hey, it isn't terrifying yet!!! Give him a while. It's quite pretty just at the moment.

I could hit up the monthly barrel log for Dorian to start to get a better feel for Waver, if it's all right? He'll be heading down there for research on any books that have things about protection magic anyway.

I really super enjoyed the thread we did at the feast! And Clara is a super strong personality who loves to steamroll people into doing what she wants. It could be fun to keep shoving them together.

Oh my god, yes, I've had lots of fun with them! I'd love to do stuff with Clara the Steamroller. Maybe we can build off of the magic wards shenanigans?

Also, bow and arrow is Dorian's second weapon (because Aster is making him learn two) so they could practice together and Clara can drop stories about hanging out with Robin Hood on Dorian.
