Lancer - Fate/Stay Night

Character Name: Lancer (Cu Chulainn)
Series: Fate/Stay Night
Personality: A hero summoned to the future to die pointlessly because his masters suck. He's actually the hero of Celtic myth, Cu Chulainn. He will flirt and hit things with a spear if given free reign.
Court: Seelie
Current location: He is... south of Daonna in his giant castle. Dun Dealgan OOH OOOOOOOOH
Open Posts: Actually, yes
Current or future plans: Who knows? Lancer might fight in the upcoming battles--he might not. For the most part, he wants to get his fortress together and make it liveable. He'll also probably invite some people he likes.
Catch-up: He got beaten up trying to get the Moon back, he flirted a whole bunch with some teenagers, fought to defend Cothromach, discovered that no one can pronounce his name for shit, started courting Merida and then suddenly in December he destroyed a bunch of Unseelie camps, raided towers and turned those towers into Seelie fortifications. Basically, out of nowhere--Lancer appeared.
Desired CR: I have a feeling I'm going to get PLENTY of antagonistic CR for Lancer, so I don't really want to jump at that ASAP. I'd like to see CR for him rebuilding the reputation of his fortress and making it into a lovely little city.
Shipping: For the moment, he's courting Merida--but, he's the type to flirt and sleep around even when married as per his terrible legend. I don't see him changing.
Things to avoid: None.
Other: I'm currently at a very good place for Lancer at the moment.

it actually is going to depend on a few things
- He's taken on a student from Morla with the promise of if he does well, he'll be able to teleport the whole structure all over Dorchadas which I just spelled wrong but I'm lazy to go double check the right spelling. This is player quest dependent.
- Where the battlelines fall
- Anti-shardbearer sentiment
- Leathann outpost in the future.

Then, it might be tough for CR between those two, unless Waver likes traveling! The Dorchadas border is pretty far from where the fortress is being placed.

Though, educating folks is a big thing. There should be the suggestion that Lancer wouldn't mind taking on students...........

well, canon says he does, but man, if the Barrel's gotta go up in smoke he might take an offer of refugee. At the very least, he is looking for folks to home the Barrel's library for a while, so that might be a good in?

and yeah waver's trying to address the anti-shardbearer sentiment in his own way he's just struggling to keep his head on straight with what's about to happen AND the fact that so many people he knows are in high positions regarding it (hi saber)
