and yay 8D it's okay if her traveling is harder to do, June May will do the travel on her behalf because why stay in the Caer all the time. after this war effort stuff cools down she'll be game.

That sounds like a plan. And depending on when June May is about, it might be easier to have them meet up. I have Sua docked in Leathann during the winter because shore leave and there's not much business for her company to do during the winter. She'll be around there prooobably until late March.

Excellent! I'm curious as to how all the anti-shardbearer and dead oracle things will factor in as well. ngl I'm really fond of Leathann's design and it's why I wanted to stick Sua there.

all the anti-shardbearer things though...good thing she's decently diplomatic. I can't imagine things are going to end up nice for anyone.

...just today I was talking about a long term goal being setting up another place for people to live away from the courts in neutrality. what if that was set up in Leathann.

no but really I was originally considering it near Caer Glaem but having it completely removed from the mainland is even better because then troops can't bother it too badly unless someone starts naval fights.

yes, that's actually become waver's problem with where the barrel is, leathann is so far out that it takes serious effort. And given where bot Caers are, they aren't inclined to have a huge navy

it helps that rin can make magical fax machines too

leathann might be another good place for a sky-port, actually, which is one of the things that's in the pipeline for the brucolac's spire (rin's researching flying boats and making 'em happen)
