A little bit about you: well. obviously I'm stupid for tolkien. That's. mostly what my plurk is. That and ranting about work. Um. I like giant robots, fast cars and detective shows. I adore tea and chocolate. I don't know how to talk about myself?

Series: Tolkien's Dissertation of Oaths and the Terrible Consequences Thereof
Personality: Mags is the emoest elf to emo, he was emo before you humans thought it was cool. SO OKAY this is Maglor, who is canonly the second best bard in existance, also he killed a lot of people for the sake of shiny jewels and feels reaaaaaally guilty about this also in the process lost his whole family and thus has survivors guilt on top of all that. Yep. He's not the sanest cookie in the jar. When he's not brooding away his life and trying to figuratively (or literally, depending) cliff himself, he's actually a real sweetheart with a rather large overprotective big brother/father streak. He's also something of a troll (this happens when you're second of seven and have umpteen cousins) but he's not likely to show that side of him to anyone outside of close family and friends, and you'll have to work hard to extract it.

Current location: mooooostly based in Caer Scima much to his great disgust. But when you give the elf who canonly vanishes at the end of his story to wander the earth a magic ring that lets him be anywhere after dark...
Open Posts: Noooothing recent I literally just got back from holidays and then had Christmas & New Year but if folk want to backtag things there's his toplevel at Waver's party and the Reynard Song post
Current or future plans: /shrugs helplessly at you all. Mags is currently helping Waver plan evacuations and singing rude songs about Reynard in taverns across the map. He got a star vision which gave him lovely flashbacks to his 500year war. Uh.
Catch-up: Mags hates the Queens (Solais moreso than Morla) and he hates the war and he hates everything that endangers his family, basically. His fosterling is in enchanted sleep, his brother is quietly fading, his mom has thrown himself into a project for Morla that he's terrified will kill her or drive her mad the way his father went... Mags is so, so very done with everything.
Desired CR: /helpless shrugging I would really like to do more with getting Mags involved in La Resistance but he's also so very done with everything and... its hard for me to get motivated right now because of RL things. Any help would be appreciated.
Shipping: Mags is taken, ~~why would you even want to~~ in that weird single-person focus of Tolkien elves ~~his wife is technically dead at his hand but...it's complicated~~

Personality: Faramir is one of those guys who is almost too good to be true. He's honest and noble and gentle. He can be shy, and he underestimates himself. Once you've earned his loyalty, its yours forever. He's actually a very good fighter, but he prefers the book to the blade, if given halft he choice

Current location: aaaaaat the moment I think he's still in Caer Glaem but he was also bumming around Thranduil's party and may have hung around after idk
Open Posts: toplevel at Thranduil's party and announcing Eowyn was gone
Current or future plans: Farry is still moping that Eowyn is gone and hasn't... really settled into court much (mainly because he's been incredibly leery about it) so... NO PLANS HIT ME
Catch-up: No really he hasn't been up to much at all... he does have a boon ring that let him go to the side of people he cares for and warns him when they're in danger but... that's. about. it.
Desired CR: Someone come and drag him out a bit more

Well!

Lancelot is already offering to train people with sword or with magical-fairy-shard-power use, and equally asking for experienced fighters to come help him teach the others! There's a Log for the actual 80s-training-sequence bit, and if he spoke to Faramir a while he would probably offer him tasks (at your discretion!). He's looking for scouts, guards, people to perform escort quests, all sorts!

hmmm.... I will poke at that and see if Farry will climb out of his hole. He won't want to fight, he's too leery of the war in general ~~also Aragorn wants peace~~ but he'd be willing to help out around the place I think. He can't do a quest this month, coz Mags is doing one tho =p

Training is not fighting, farry, it is making sure people are not defenceless if the war comes to them!!

haha at least he's less stubborn about this than mags is orz
