"Aren't they? At least the hallways here tend to behave and don't reshuffle themselves in the middle of the night." Well, not too often, anyway. "If you'd like, I can help you get to wherever you'd care to go or give you the two penny tour?"
no subject
"If you'd give me the tour, we can walk and talk."

"In any case, I'm Harry, formerly from Britain. What sort of things do you want to see? There's all the usual places - library, kitchens, halls, courtyards, and the like."

But she'd rather not think about that, so she just draws herself up and considers the question. "All the usual places," she decides, "I'm sure I'll come to easily enough. What are the areas they don't usually show to the fresh meat?"

"He did one holding a mirrorball up to his face. Never could quite figure out how he did it."
Shaking off the thought of warped self portraits, Harry considers her request and comes up with a list of options. "The bailey, the wardrobe, or the library. You've your choice of a garden that's a bit too cold for my liking, to meet the kind folk that'll outfit you in whatever you like, or, well, a library. It pretty much does what it says on the tin."
