Cat?

[ He actually looks surprised, having been expecting something a bit more... fantastical. Then again, a cat that can take the shape of a human is still several steps ahead of a cat that stays a cat.

And then, because he's curious: ]

Can I see? I mean, can you just change back and forth?

I can. But then my clothes will be all dirty on the floor.

[ Not that she...cares............actually she seems to be considering it. ]

I think I'm the only white cat in Caer Scima. [ More or less. ]

[ Because now he really wants to see it. Hell, he'll even try to catch them before they hit the floor, if that would work. ]

Might be. They sure like the drab color scheme around here.

Seelie's brighter, apparently. Never been, though.

[ Since, well. She doesn't care enough to go to Caer Glaem. Shijima eyes him, speculatively, and then simply says: ]

All right.

[ The change is fast. It's not instantaneous, and her form shifts through stages, fur sprouting and her eyes going catlike again, but when she's done, it's just a white cat, only her collar and her locket keeping in place on her form. ]

[ Ok, so that's pretty cool. As promised, Bull grabs hold of her clothing, keeping it from hitting the floor. He's still just a bit suspicious of her, in the way that Qunari tend to be suspicious of magical things. He crouches down, observing her in her cat form. ]

But now you can't talk, huh?

[ He holds out a hand tentatively, wanting to pet her. But would that be weird? Probably... still, he lets his hand hover over her, waiting for some sort of sign whether it's permissible or not. ]

[ The only answer is a quiet meow. If anyone around here spoke cat, she could definitely talk! Alas...

Born a cat, Shijima doesn't seem to mind being treated as one. She doesn't make any move to bat the hand away, though she doesn't lean up to nudge it, either. ]
