[ He doesn't sound enthused, but the truth is, he's happy to see a familiar face. ]

It's not the only thing, but it's the thing I care about right now.

[ At least he isn't being scolded. By the Qunari. Wouldn't that be just the height of hilarity for this place. ]

Then I'm sure you'll be glad to know you look the same as you always do.

[ Which is to say; very foolish. Not that he means to be rude, of course. ]

There are no rifts, if that is what you're concerned about.

[ Yeah, he's gonna ignore that comment and assume that Solas means he looks just as intimidating and exotically handsome as always.

Scolding can come later, especially if they really are trapped here forever. For now, he'll just take the interaction at face value. ]

Is this place connected to the Fade?

[ Of this, he's genuinely curious, and if anyone would know, it's probably Solas. No Fade would mean no demons, at least no demons as he understands them, which would be a relief. Bring on all sorts of monsters, but leave the demons. ]

[ That is, of course, exactly what he meant. What else could he have been implying?

His expression goes stern, however, at the mention of the Fade, and he pauses, frowning. ]

I cannot feel it the way I am used to. I do not think we have to worry about rifts or demons while we are here.

[ He looks frustrated, now, and entirely disappointed. He needs the Fade. ]

[ Well, that sucks for the Fade nerds of the world, but Bull looks happy to hear that. ]

I think that might be my new favorite thing about this place.

[ Ugh. ]

Of course you would enjoy it. We cannot expect everyone to understand or welcome the nature of the Fade.

[ No, the worst friend award goes to the guy that peaces out with no word or explanation to anyone. ]

I understand it plenty. You dream there, demons live there, and that's about all you need to know.

[ How can you not love his interpretation, it's basically spot on, as far as he's concerned. ]

It's far more complicated than that, Bull. Putting it into such simple words completely dismisses all that the Fade itself can offer.

It doesn't matter at this point, does it? Unless you think there's some way to reach the Fade from here.

[ He's really hoping that's impossible, but with the Fade being the strange place that is, he worries that there is some way it could be connected to this place. ]

I admit that I haven't taken the opportunity to try.

[ The first thing one does upon waking up here is not, after all, go back to sleep. He shakes his head, looking frustrated. ]

I doubt I will be so lucky.

[ He's kind of trying not to look too happy about the lack of the Fade's presence in this place, but really- this is great. ]

I'm sure there's some other weird plane of existence here that you can check out.

Depends on what you mean by alone. I know Dorian's here, we spoke at that welcoming feast. Makes me wonder if more of us got dragged here.
