gordianknots: I will not sing along (But the smell of leather is intoxicating)

There's kind of a build up of "what's interesting" and "god, this is the same old shit, and it's a blip on the radar" after a while.

So why don't you tell me what you think is interesting here, and we'll see if our interpretations line up.
gordianknots: Oh, sing your society song - It never changes (Don't know about us but I know bout them)

Wellll.

[Waver leans back in his seat, easy as you please. He's technically in his coffee house/main base of operation for anti-court activity, but the bookshelves behind him have been emptied. Not a great background.]

For some reason the Seelie and Unseelie have been fool enough to summon shardbearers into this place just as they're gearing up to beat the living shit out of each other, and doing it at a bad time. Natives around here have decided that they're sick of this war shit and have started holding shardbearers responsible, which means that any civilian casualties are only going to inflame things.

How's that for starts?

See? That's plenty interesting, you didn't need me to tell you.

[ It was information that he was vaguely aware of already, but he likes the way Weaver puts it. He doesn't like the idea of being a pawn, but there's plenty of information to gather from this place, if he can ever report back to the Ben-Hassrath. It's not too different from what he's already used to. ]
gordianknots: In a room of strangers I guess I'm glad I don't belong (We are genii)

Outside of the natives, most of that's business as usual though.

[That it's widely known is the only reason Waver's given it. The newcomers need to know what's going on, and if any of them have any skill in intelligence, then he needs to find them before the courts can sink their claws in.]

Piss poor tactics included.
