Huh?
[There's a kid there. He looks about half her age, and is attempting, in vain, it looks like, to grab a gravy jug. She grabs hold of it easily, and kneels a little so that they're on eye level (for a girl her age, she's a little tall.)]
Hey, do you need this?
no subject
[Taking it from her with a big grin. It's a little big, but he can hold onto it.]
Thank you! Now I can make the lava for my volcano.
no subject
Eh...are you gonna be able to eat all of that?

[He runs to his place setting and decides to try to start pouring it on his giant mountain of mush. But once again, he's a little too short. So obviously he climbs to stand up in his chair...
This is obviously about to end with a child on the ground covered in spilled gravy in about two seconds.]

H-hey! Easy — [She's not really sure what to do in this situation, so she just reaches to lift him out of the seat.
She doesn't mean to invade personal space, honest. But it seems like the best solution.]
no subject
[Tipping precariously until she lifts him up. He doesn't seem very put off by the personal space invasion or the fact that he's being held up. In fact, he immediately reaches out and uses his new height to pour the gravy.]
See? The potatoes are the volcano, and the gravy is the hot lava that -- oops!
[He accidentally poured enough to completely drown his plate and the table around it and wash away the potato mountain. Oh well.]
And that's called erosion. Pretty neat, huh?

Man, were they going to get in trouble for this? She had no idea how imaginary fairy kingdoms operated. She sets Greg down some ways away from the mashed potato and gravy monsoon, and rubs at her forehead.] Yeah, it's something else...but now things are kinda a mess.
['Kinda.']
