[Fëanor's come to visit the armory to see if any of the blades live up to his nearly impossible standards. He's been rather disappointed at the craftsmanship he's seen displayed in the Unseelie court already, but that's not surprising. None of this work is anything he couldn't do better, on his best day.

He's rather surprised by the blade pointed at his head when he walks in the door, but then a smile spreads over his face.]

Very well.

[He has no idea who, or what, his opponent (or perhaps, comrade) is, but he's quite certain he's no elf. No matter. There's never been an elf who can compare to Fëanor.

He draws the blade by his side, and waits, that smile still on his face. Let the other attack first.]

[Oh, that's cheating. Sesshomaru thins his eyes and shakes his head. If they are to fight as comrades, then they will test their mettle with the weapons of their benefactors. Sesshomaru could slay a thousand demons with one swing of Bakusaiga, but this is a challenge as well as a test of raw skill.

It's also a wise decision on his part not to accidentally wreck up the whole place with a sword that wasn't designed to play nice indoors.]

Even ground. A simple blade from the wall, or none at all.

[And in a rare show of amusement, he smirks.]

I'm sure they'll find it more entertaining.

[Well, well, well. A fan of fairness. Fëanor can respect that, although he's loathe to put his own blade away, simply because he knows there will be known to rival it.

But he walks over to the weapons rack, and goes through it quickly. Quicker than one might think, but his eyes are trained to spot any deficiencies, any weak spots, any flaw at all. He tests one sword, then another, and finally chooses a short sword.

It doesn't look particularly impressive, but he judges it to be the best of the lot. The smile is still on his face when he turns to face the other.]

Yes, it seems like that's what they're looking for, after all. Shall we dance for them?
