I know it's really strange, but things like that happen here I guess. But I'm really glad. That means time doesn't move after all. I thought Marta would kill me for abandoning her but she'll be all right.

I don't know. I can't even imagine an arte that could do that. But magic here is much stronger than anything I've ever seen. [He can't help a smile.] Even though I didn't want you dragged into this, it's really nice to have a friend. And now we know the others won't ye- uhm, worry about us.
