[ his expression softens immediately. even across the distance, it's not like he can't tell who and what this is, and he's certain it's entirely mutual. ]

Aslan's a nice name. I'm really glad you're here. [ he shifts, curling his arms loosely around his knees and resting his chin atop them. ] How're you finding it, by the way?

[ He most certainly can, and it definitely is mutual. It warms his heart, truly, a measure of unspoken understand that transcends anything words can really communicate. ]

[ If for not other reason than this - though, with beings like them, one might say they've always known each other. These things are complicated.

For his own part, he's plopped somewhere outside in the grass. He likes the great outdoors better. ]

I find it curious. [ It's no small feat that could bring either of them here. ] The festivities remind me of two old friends.

For all that Aslan's appearance can be fearsome, it is only for very good reasons that he actually shows his teeth. ]

[ unsurprisingly, then, the feed winks out and jesus is suddenly perched in the grass beside aslan, leaning a little into his side. 99% of the time, jesus prefers to be human-- he'd been born that way, he'd lived that way his entire life, and people can relate to him as long as he's human. but around people like aslan, he can be a little bit more like his father, and that's just fine. ]

I like this shape, by the way. [ 'lion of judah' and all. he's partial. ]

[ An expected appearance. Aslan turns his head and smiles at his...fellow. The sameness he feels is comforting -- as much as he loves his own children, it's rare indeed to meet someone like himself.

Aslan chuffs lightly - a soft, contented rumble. ]

[ Though he does have others (they could be actual twins if he decided to appear human), this has always fit the best. ]

It draws its share of attention.

[ Talking lions aren't very common in the multiverse, apparently. ]
