[ Feasts are dull and so are libraries (or so Caesar would claim if ever accused of liking them), but at least with books he can learn something without having to mingle. He's been wandering through it for some time now and, hmm, might be lost, although he's not likely to admit that.
Worse, he's fairly certain something started following him at some point, but he's yet to catch any sight of it...
He'll keep going, though, stopping whenever a title catches his eye and paging through the book. He's in the middle of actually pausing and reading a page for real when the rustle of someone or something gets him whirling around, book held up like he might use it as a club. ]
Okay, that's it! Come out already! You've been following me for an hour, so just get on with it.
[ Whether it's what actually was lurking after him or not, well... ]
ii. locket; open to unseelie and seelie
So, was anyone ever going to mention dozing off in the library is a bad idea? Because I swear that stupid place just tried to eat me...
[ Large amounts of magical tomes, imps, and god knows what else all in one place? Of course that was a terrible place to take a nap in, but some habits die hard. ]
