Usually I have to spend hours explaining it.

[ he blows a few strands of hair out of his eyes, considering how to explain it. ] Well, that's a little complicated, but.. where I'm from, my father is sort of.. the deity in charge of everything? And he's omnipresent and omniscient, and even though I mostly live like a human, I inherited a lot of.. all of that.

[ he'd never thought he'd have to explain this sort of thing to someone from another world, but it goes to show that he should never discount the probability of realm-hopping. ]

So I tend to recognize other savior-types.
