[Bellamy's grin widens. Hearing those words from Octavia back when they first landed would have sent him into a wild protectiveness, but now he just knows how true it is. He's actually a little proud.] Get yourself a weapon, and maybe a third.

[But then his face falls the slightest bit. Anyone but Octavia would probably miss it.] Haven't seen her. Or anyone else.

[turina]

[She doesn't miss the overprotectiveness, at all. Especially not in this kind of situation: they got kidnapped here together, so they are going to get together- so when Bellamy not only doesn't argue that she could, but actually suggests she get a weapon she can't help but grin.

A grin that slips away pretty quickly. She trusts her brother with her life, many times over. But the reason their little camp worked so well for as long as it did was their teamwork, and she's pretty sure Bellamy knows it. Still, if she isn't here then she isn't and thinking about it isn't going to solve anything.]

Then we have to get out and go find them. [She looks away for a moment before shifting and opening up her jacket up a bit to show him she's stacked knives and forks under it.]

This was all I could get my hands on.

[anarchos]

[The way Octavia started to grow scared him for a while, for a lot of reasons he'd never admit out loud. What if she didn't need him anymore? What if something happened that he couldn't stop? Learning just how much she could actually take care of herself was terrifying, and in ways, it still is - but he's proud of her, too. She's made the Earth hers just as much as he has.]

[When she shows off the cutlery she nicked, Bellamy smirks, showing off some of that pride in her. It's easier to focus on that than being without his coleader - their success is in their duality, their teamwork, and he knows that far too well by now. But if Clarke is his brain, Octavia is his heart.] It's a good start. Hope they're sharp enough.

[He squeezes her arm.] We will. If they're here, we'll find them. But we need to get a better grasp of our surroundings first. Don't wanna get lost looking for lost friends, now do we?

[turina]

[She takes a moment to nod, but she finally does. It's not that she enjoys a fight, she doesn't like hurting people. But she doesn't run from it either and as much as she'd deny it right now she's scared and without her friends so bashing some heads and getting answers from the non-bashed ones seems like the fastest option.

But as fast as that might be Bellamy's right: it's not the smartest way to go about it. She finds herself thinking 'What would Clarke do?' and... she doesn't know how to feel about that.]

We could try to make a map?

[anarchos]

['What would Clarke do?' He wonders that a lot more often than he used to himself, and right now is no exception.]

[And a map sounds exactly like what she'd do. So Bellamy nods at his sister.]

There's gotta be something to draw it on. Maybe this is the kinda place that even has paper. [He smiles wryly, out of the fact that paper's so rare and because he doesn't have much belief in their luck.] I wanna check out this building, see if they're keeping anyone elsewhere.

[turina]

We can do that. [She says 'we' very pointedly as she wraps an arm around Bellamy's, just in case her brother was thinking of telling her to stay put as he went looking around. She isn't going to let him out of her sight now that she's found him.

Part of her mind is telling her to focus on finding Lincoln as well... but she's pretty sure telling Bellamy that isn't going to end up nicely.]

But if we don't find any paper, and I doubt it, white walls and charcoal will do nicely.

[anarchos]

[There's a small part of Bellamy that still yells out no at the 'we.' The part that wants to protect his sister so desperately from everything he can. But he's learned a better balance of protection versus support, and he'd rather have his sister's back than her ire. He nods at her, promising that he's not going to leave her behind here.]

[Then he snorts.] They've gotta have something to write with. If they've got the technology for these lockets - [he makes a vague gesture, to where he's got his tucked under his shirt] - they've gotta have writing utensils.

[A beat.] And the longer we watch people eat, the more we can see just how healthy the food is. [Or isn't.]

[turina]

[There we go, that's better. If he'd told her to stay put she'd have had to sneak away and while she's positive that she could she'd rather not have to go through all that hassle. Things are always better if they are on the same page about stuff.]

The food's more important, yeah? But we can check if the people who are eating end up sick later while we look for stuff to write on.

...Actually we could maybe try asking? They are giving us all of this, maybe they do't care if we wanna draw.

[anarchos]

[He nods at her.] We're gonna need nourishment eventually, but I'd rather not a repeat of the hallucination situation. [Or worse.]

[Bellamy makes a thoughtful noise and crosses his arms.] You think anyone looks a little more approachable than most? [It's not like Octavia is a paradigm of judging people, but he wants her input anyway. He's cynical to her optimism, and maybe a combination of both will actually get them something to draw with.]

[turina]

Uh...

[She raises a surprised eyebrow at him, but she isn't going to complain. Bellamy has changed a lot since they landed- and the way he looked with Clarke between his arms was only the first sign of it. She isn't sure if she likes all of the changes but this? This is something she can get used to.]

Honestly? I have no idea. They all look kind of- well, like they are bored. Like they are used to this. Which is a little worrying.
