[She's all for a joyous reunion, just not in the hall. Taking his hand, she looks around for a moment not answering before leading him up to her and her mother's rooms. As much as she wanted to tell him everything right there, about her arrival and the orcs - how she'd met both Maglor and Maedhros, it wasn't the place.

Once she's sure they're safely behind doors, she sets down the bag before moving to embrace him again.]

I was brought here by the other court. I - [A beat.] The Queen was generous enough to grant me rooms here but with the war brewing, it's not safe.

[ He is content to be led elsewhere, though not naive enough to believe that this conversation is completely private. All castles have eyes and ears everywhere, it is the natural of such things. But at least they can enjoy a more private reunion.

And, really, holding his baby girl in his arms is just about the greatest thing ever. It's soothing and lets him concentrate on something else besides wringing the neck of whoever did the actual kidnapping. ]

That is exceedingly generous of her. [ For the moment. ] We will find you room elsewhere, daughter. Away from both courts if possible.

[Echoes of conversations with her mother flow through her mind, how much she'd missed him in her time here. His words pull her out of her thoughts, eyes drifting up to look at him.]

Lord Thranduil has formed a mountainhome - away from the courts. [A mountainhome which both Aragorn and her mother had seen fit to arrange rooms for her in.]

There are native elven clans here, clans that have been devastated by the war. [One of which she'd agreed to go meet with, though now with her father here maybe she shouldn't.] They are in need of aid and shelter, refuge away from the fighting.

[A beat.] I am sorry you've been pulled into this. Nana and many of the others are here. [While she is grateful for the opportunity to see her mother again, this was not how she had imagined it.]
