[ Of all the people she expected to see, Leliana is not one of them. Her spymaster is a great many things, all of them admirable (to her, perhaps, and to others...though she has the distinct feeling that Leliana might not see it that way), but someone to be aligned with the Unseelie Court? No, that is not something she would predict. Perhaps she should have, though; is the Inquisition and its founders not advocates for change? Did Leliana not say that she would change the Chantry from its core, free its mages, and advocate for understanding and acceptance?

It still makes her pause when she comes out to the stables, her task of finding a mount on hold while she stops and stares at the older woman. ]

Leliana.

[ If she is passive, Nasrin is bright; if Leliana is controlled, she is fluid. Though her greeting is much more emphatic than her spymaster's, there is something grim in the way her lips do not quite turn into a smile. She had been hoping that Leliana and Cassandra would remain in Thedas to lead the Inquisition (as they were meant to, in her opinion). Knowing that Caer Scima has taken another powerful person perturbs her. ]

I didn't know you were here too. Are you all right?

[ Of course she would be Unseelie. She was spymaster, and she held no illusion of how much blood stained her hands, proverbially or not. The end was more important than the means, and it always has been, whether she had always seen it or not.

She watches the Inquisitor, a steady thing as she lingers along the threshold of the stables, before approaching the pretty dapple-grey she'd already spotted before she had started speaking. Outstretches a gloved hand to lay a gentle pat long the arch of the horse's neck.
] I am well, [ the answer is dismissive, because were any of them all right, really? ] - and your concern is much appreciated, Lady Lavellan. However unnecessary.

[ Oh, she shouldn't be here. None of them should because home has a gaping hole in the sky that's still steadily spewing out demons and destroying the faith that had once saved Leliana's life and instead here they are. ] Though I cannot say the ground feels solid enough quite yet. It will take some time.

[ Time that they didn't have was implied around the sharp edges of her words. She turns back to the Inquisitor. ] And you? Where were you planning on going?

[ She is rather surprised at how distant Leliana seems. They are not, of course, the closest of friends or comrades...but this is unlike her now, past the ball in Halamshiral, when she has gained some of her hope and strength. But she cannot even begin to guess - or realize - the true meaning behind Leliana's edges now.

For her part, however, she bristles at the title. ]
I am neither 'lady' nor Inquisitor here, Leliana. You do not need to use formalities with me.

[ It is as close as she can manage to say, 'There is safety here', because there is not, and no amount of goading or encouraging would be able to change her mind. Nasrin cannot lie to her. Her nod, in turn, is solemn, and she turns to look for any Harts, any non-equine mounts for her to use. ]

I was...simply looking.

[ Truth be told, she does not feel comfortable in the Unseelie Court, and was using any excuse to go elsewhere. Though her mind remains on Thedas, threatened by both the war in the courts and Corypheus, her heart is also set on the future, and in recovering and preserving that which has been lost. Perhaps, just perhaps, she will find answers in a world away from home. ]

I had been told of strange spirits in Loch Noa and had been hoping to go looking for myself. It would...provide me some time to become acquainted to this world, and perhaps I would find answers away from the court.

[ And who better to explore the wilds than a Dalish? ]

You seem to have had a similar thought, though, or you would not be here.

sorry for the delay!!

[ Distance was a reflex more than a personal notion, one borne out of hardened edges that have only recently began to thaw away. Perhaps the Inquisitor had that effect, but their new predicament shouldn't be the place for dropped guards.

But she nods at the correction, and chances a tip of a smile.
] I will take that to note. [ True, their titles meant little here. Inquisitor, Spymaster. What did it matter?

It will take time, to get used to this. To here. To them being here. Leliana could adapt as well as any, and perhaps even better, but this felt...different. Like it could hold a permanence she was not prepared for (the shards, the courts; there was no quick resolution, of course) and that, that could scare her, if she considered it longer.

If she considered what that could mean for the Rifts eating away, breaking the fabric of Thedas and-

No; they have shown nothing but resilience so far. It cannot change, cannot be allowed to, and her faith will not be shaken. She's no mage, possesses no intimate knowledge of magic, certainly not one that could merge and pass through different worlds but there are those here that do know it; that know how this was done, since they keep doing it. She had little qualms about getting the information, through any means necessary.

Her glance lingers back to the mare, then to Nasrin.
] Yes, I had, though I've not set myself a destination yet. Perhaps I will travel with you, if you do not object.
