Big sis who is at a loss of words because damn, Sylvanas, you look pale girl. Like dead pale, she can't even process this properly right now.

Cue the most awkward silence in a long, long time. All she can do is frown, sorry. ]

[ SURPRISE, INDEED. It's not often these days that she looks visibly taken aback, but your dead sister showing up out of nowhere in a land completely alien from your own is not generally something that happens. Or that has ever happened to her, personally.

And really there is only one thing to say to this, despite all pretenses of being aloof. Because your big sister coming back from the dead is an occasion to let your guard down, however slightly... ]

[ Funny that Sylvanas is so concerned with Alleria being dead, or so that's the first thing that crosses her mind. "Are you?" is what she wants to bark back, half angry, half concerned, as if they were still children and Alleria had to scold her sister for some unwarranted mischief.

It couldn't be more different from that though. ]

[ This is not exactly a conversation that she planned on having. So any carefully crafted phrases about her death are completely out of the window. Instead, she considers how to break the news to her elder sister gently -- or at least, to stop her sister from marching straight out of the castle and rampaging across the countryside until she could find someone to blame for the mess. Which seemed likely.

No, there's no good way to say this delicately. ]

I died, when Quel'thalas was attacked by the Scourge. Several years after you...went missing.

[ Alleria might have put her orc hatred behind her, but do not trust her to just sit and take news like that without a million murderous thoughts crossing her mind.

She focuses on Sylvanas' words though, because they speak of things that happened after she crossed the Dark Portal. Things she missed. Things she lost. Again. Her family, decimated once more, her sister slain in her absence. Can she save anyone? Or is she cursed to see them all fall? ]

The Scourge? I don't- that name has no meaning to me. How long, sister? How ling since I entered that wretched portal?
