[Oh! Well look at that, she doesn't only accept it, she also encourages it. Laughing even more, Dave happily proceeds, not with one hand but two. Fingers bury in soft fur and try to find her favorite spots to be scratched, trying to put years of dog owner experience into practice.]

[Oh, my god (can she even think that way, technically being God?), it's really embarrassing???? She's a fucking dignified god thank-you-very-much, but holy— just— she whines in such an appreciative way it must be obvious that she sincerely, whole-heartedly enjoys it. But the baby talk makes a growl build up that pathetically devolves into relishing whimpering.

Careful, because she's trying to bully him through weight and pawing down to ground level with her. If she gets her way, he'll soon have wet dog-tongue to face. This is pay back, bub.]

[Bah, who needs dignity? Dave is sure he lost his when he was ten, so may as well enjoy being a dork. But he pauses in his petting when she growls... uh-oh.]
