Yeah, there are several people from Earth and quite a few even from Japan, but everyone else is... well, I saw a centaur earlier today. She seemed nice.

Anyways, yes, I'm a time traveler from the strange and terrifying future of 2012. Marvel at our futuristic technology like the... uh, iPhone 5, I guess. [Not that he has one.]

That's such a huge relief... I thought I saw people dressed more or less the same as me, but there's so many others, I didn't even know. And yeah, I saw that centaur, too! She was a real sweetheart.

And wow, you're not just kidding me? You're a year in the future? I... guess if people are coming from all kinds of places, they can come through time, too. But wait, if you tell me about the future, won't that cause a time paradox when we get back to our original timeline? That's what all the time travel martial arts movies I've watched say!

Well, I guess... paradoxes are impossible. That's why they're paradoxes. So either that won't happen, or we're from parallel timelines and no matter what we do in our presents it will only change our futures.

I guess... that makes sense. If you're from 2012, then anything you tell me can't make me destroy the future when I go back to 2011, or else you wouldn't be here. Maybe you're even supposed to tell me things, or else then the future won't be the way it is!
