[ If ever presented with a plate of food, she never turns it down. She says nothing, she looks down at the chicken leg and back to her. Alice is assuming she's human, too, why else wouldn't she be. ]
Thank you.

Chuckling, she grabs a plate and some chicken for herself, before sitting back down. It smells pretty amazing, and it should be just enough to fill her stomach for the time being.]
You're welcome! Wouldn't want you to miss out. All the good stuff seems to be going quick!

[ She really doesn't have much of a choice to sit, does she? Not with this large of a chicken leg. It's a little awkward to eat at first, because she's so used to eating with a fork and a knife that the concept of food like this seems very impolite.
But that doesn't seem to be the issue with the merriment around her. Alice tries to take tentative bites, since it is a little too messy for her liking. Meat is great -- she actually likes meat! There's not this good enough chicken or beef in London, anyway. ]
Sorry for the slow!
See? Exactly. God, when I was a kid, my parents would get so damn mad if I didn't eat every thing on my plate. [Talking about her parents isn't something that phases her too much. She'd rather keep their memories alive in her hearts, than repress her memories of them completely.]
I'd have to sit at the table until I was finished. Every. Night.
