[Lucy continued to stare at the selection in front of her, wondering what she would end up trying first. She supposed it didn't really matter, as she wasn't particularly picky over her food. Though, she noticed that someone else had been staring, and at her.

It wasn't the first time, considering the horns.]

What do you want?

[She said, making eye contact with him.]

[He was beginning to think she was a fairy. She behaved oddly, had an odd and ethereal presence and even seemed dangerous when she was spoke. His mother told him he would scarcely meet anymore people like her, but he supposed she was speaking facetiously.]

You aren't eating, despite your hunger. Are you fasting?

[Yes, he could hear the stomach rumbling despite the crowd. Yes, he was a monster.]

I'm not doing anything like that. [Though she did wonder how he had found out, given all the noise that was going on.]

I've never eaten anything like this before.

[She said, finally picking up some of the food. Prisoners didn't particularly get lavish meals.]

How could you tell that I was hungry?

Fairies don't get hungry. You aren't one, are you?

I'm not a fairy. [She was something much, much worse. But he really had no clue.
