[what's she witnessing? currently, just a very thirsty wolf. Bigby slowly settles down on the edge of the water, dipping his snout into the stream. it's colder than he thought it'd be, but it's a nice relief from all the plodding around he's been doing for the last couple hours. he needs very little to keep him going — a full stomach and a wet muzzle was perfectly sufficient, though he's still working on a way to accomplish the former.

...which would prooooobably not be a wise thing to reveal to his new friend chilling back behind those trees, so. consider his lips sealed.

weighing his options as he takes languid laps from the brook, Bigby realizes two things: one, if they've made it this far and still haven't backed out yet they likely won't anytime soon because they want something; and two, whatever they are it isn't human. in fact, the more he thinks about it, their smell bears more in common with an elf's than any other creature that comes to mind. it's earthy and sweet and speaks of nature, of ozone-charged air before thunderstorms, of grey willows blooming under spring sun and leaves browning in the fall. it's a magical smell. literally.

if it really is an elf, he might not be in as much trouble as he thinks. even so, he needs to play his cards carefully. the last thing he needs is a hex, assuming this is one of the more magically inclined ones. if Nasrin chooses to draw closer, she'll notice that his stance is a little more relaxed, not aggressive at all, but still cautious.]
