He was harsh, outside sharp, inside guarded and that was why he behaved how he did. But, their group, including Blue were all his friends and he cared for them them all in his own way. When she smiled that little bit he did not return the expression but his shoulders drew up and something in him softened for just a split second. She was probably as confused and lost as he was after all.

He had felt the same thing about Noah, then again he had been more concerned for Chainsaw and Gansey, not that he was going to openly admit. No, he would just keep on looking and find all of or any of them that he could. He may somewhere deep inside hope for all but right now, his bird and his "brother" would be the most important. He will not make any apologies for that.

"I found Parrish, he's checking places for Chainsaw. Come on, Maggot, guess I'll take you with me." The implied till we find him is not entirely truthful, if she decided to stick with Ronan he would not say a word about it. However, now that he thought on it, they never were really alone. Good thing she could be okay with hard edged silence as he turned and continued walking and called Chainsaw's name again.

The thought gave Blue plenty to pause and think about. If she was here, and Ronan was here, and Adam was here, it stood to reason that Gansey and Noah would be, too. She wasn't sure how or why Chainsaw would be separated from the Kerah she loved so well, but if Adam was already looking for her, she and Ronan could focus on finding the others. And maybe Maura...

She blinked and shook her head quickly to come back from the space she'd zoned out to. "Do you even know where we're going?"
