POTENTIALLY APPING: YEAH SEE THERE'S THE PROBLEM, I've got like way too many ideas of people I want to app. but basically your choice is between two period character dudes who will inevitably be lcws and will react to things in VASTLY DIFFERENT WAYS.

• Chauvelin from The Scarlet Pimpernel (book). he's a revolutionary during the Reign of Terror who absolutely has no problems with letting nobles die via the guillotine but he's constantly shown up by French Batman the Scarlet Pimpernel. he's a major major asshole and will probably spend the entire thing going "but I don't want to serve this court, they're aristocrats." he'll have no problem killing people and fighting wars because hey, thems the breaks. I really don't know what court he'd fall in, but I'm leaning towards Seelie because it'd be fucking hilarious.
  
• Raoul de Chagny from The Phantom of the Opera (musical). he's a really nice guy! who just so happens to be dating a girl with a crazy deformed stalker, you do you Raoul. he tries REALLY REALLY HARD but is stupid trusting and wears his heart on his sleeve. He's straight up Seelie and will be absolutely gung-ho about winning this thing and going home because Christine's back there you guys, he doesn't want to be here at all.

OTHER: this is the most tentative of tentative things, but why the hell not, it ain't no crime to put feelers out and see what's what. also, since I put a POTO guy on my potential app, I feel it's a goddamn crime if I don't link to the best gif ever.
