What age group do you tend to gravitate towards? Maturity of mind is a great draw, but I also place value on the beauty of youth.
What's your favourite colour? Indian yellow, I think it was, that Basil always used for his suns. But I liked porphyra too, and Verona green.
What's the best thing you have going for you? I will never become old and ugly and horrible.
What do you first look for in others? I appreciate a personality that is strong and beautiful, knowing what it wishes for and seeking it out in manner worthy of art.
Your favourite word is? 'Darkling,' perhaps? Keats used it so prettily.
I spent most of last summer... Mostly, with my friend Basil Hallward. I went to crushes and played with Lady Agatha in the East End, but Basil did always want my company when he painted, and he was always painting, so there wasn't much else that I did.
Would you stop to pick up a penny? I can't imagine why I would.
