Player Info:
Name: Mania
Method of contact: PM this jounral or [plurk.com profile] fantasticpants
Timezone: Jerusalem (GMT+2)
Tagging Habits: I'm slow (partially due to a tendency to overthink everything and get stuck as a result) and definitely a backtagger. More used to prose but don't hugely mind either way.
RP preferences: Depends. I like the occasional spur-of-the-moment stuff, but I enjoy plotting when it comes to less casual threads.
A little bit about you: I'm a lurking lurker who lurks. The end.

Character Info:
Character Name: Daud
Series: Dishonored
Personality: Recently retired leader of a supernatural assassin gang. Frowny, blunt, willful and distrusts everybody, especially people with neat handwriting. Has hidden depths™, and a secret passion for monologuing. He's not a good guy, but he regrets his past choices and is working on being less of an asshole. And on doing less, y'know, murder.
Court: Unseelie, but in a very 'fuck this, fight your own war' kinda way.
Current location: Currently Caer Scima. If I get my act together, he'll be out and headed for the Station within a week.
Open Posts: I'll try to get a network post up in the next few days about getting some people together to travel to the Station.
Current or future plans: Short-term, there's the journey to the Station and whatever messy adventures that'll entail. He'll also be trying to tame a cleg, which will be a pain in the ass since he's far from a horse-whisperer, but he is a persistent bastard and has the benefit of being able to break his fall with teleportation. Long-term, who knows. He's gonna have to redefine himself as something other than 'legendary assassin'. And he's likely to end up Shardless one way or another, possibly of his own volition.
Catch-up: He side-eyed some pointy-eared bastards, slashed up some worms with Will and House, got a little worm poisoning (blergh), grumped around, did some research and took a horse riding refresher course.
Desired CR: Friends would be nice (possibly of this sort), and people for him to care about. The kind of people he'd be more immidiately drawn to are give-no-shit-about-the-war types, anti-heroes and anti-villains, people who are rough around the edges, fuckups, criminals. But that's just his comfort zone, and I'd love to see him branch out. He could also serve as a mentor in the ways of badass (or at least staying alive) -- if you're into tough love. Negative/ambiguous CR is cool, too.
Shipping: Sure. If something evolves, I'd be down.
Things to avoid: Fun. He hates fun. B|

Let's have all the unfun together!

I think the party is shaping up to be Daud, Javik, Maglor and House, and I'll throw up a network post to see if anyone else wants to tag along.

Now the question is when would be a good time to start the journey, what with the May event coming up. They could leave right before the event starts (and that way they could run into some pesky Seelie in the forest), or after it ends to let people participate, but that would delay things quite a bit. What's your preference?

I would prefer before the event, since Javik isn't lifting a finger to help the court and I don't mind missing it. It would be fun if they run into Seelies in the forest, though, totally unaware of what's going on haha. If everyone else would prefer to participate, I can definitely wait, and have him thrown into it against his will or deal with Seelies back home.

Then let's go with leaving right before the event. lol I'm picturing them stumbling onto the Seelie camp, going all /SHRUG WHAAATEVER and moving on without doing or reporting a damn thing. Least fuck-giving Unseelies ever.

Who are these assholes? Should we care? MEH.

Unless you've already got stuff in mind, we should probably brainstorm encounters! This will be the next 2-3 weeks of their lives, after all haha
dulledknife: (look! behind you!)

We definitely should! I'll put up a small plotting post in my journal for all of us to brainstorm and plan stuff out.
notavirtue: (why are you still standing there get out)
