The fun thing about your canon is that all these demigods are basically abandoned bastards turned into an army. So that's a neat point to play off of. (Or you know, I'm just going off the first movie, which I understand wasn't great, but bear with me here.) Anyway that could be neat. Gendry doesn't have much talent yet, but he has a lot of potential. King Robert was one of the greatest warriors Westeros ever saw and was considered almost inhumanly strong. Of all his children, Gendry has been made out to be the one most like him.

Which the sum of it is, I really want chances to live up to that potential. So I'd be pretty down for this.

THEY ARE. but don't ever go off of that movie, it's so atrocious. the demigods are just a bunch of gendrys and all the other bastard kids i can't remember. (it's actually really, really sad when you think about it.)

but, excellent! because i personally just want you to spoil me for these books. it's going to take me about two centuries to read through them, so. all i know is the tv show (which, haha, is not even accurate!) and from what i read from some of the wikis, so, if gendry wants to learn some swordfighting skill and become the better robert, luke's your man. (but don't get killed by a boar.)

either way, it would be great to get them to interact! i'm assuming gendry has daddy issues as well? luke's ~never loved him~ hence why he decided to try and destroy the world. WE SHOULD BOND OVER THAT.

Oh yes, he has daddy issues, though he'd never claim so. This encapsulates it well:

But instead of destroying the world, Gendry joined a fire worshiping cult instead. So you know, good life choices all around.

GENDRY, TEACH ME HOW TO MAKE GOOD LIFE DECISIONS THAT BENEFIT EVERYONE AND I CAN FIGHT WITH A SWORD THAT'S ON FIRE ...

That just ruins the sword, you dummy. Wow it's like he can't take you anywhere and they haven't even met yet.
