Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

What notable events has my character been a part of?: He fought the Jabberwhelp recently at Caer Glaem and the Station!
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: That Emil seems to have two personalities, that he can tame beasts, that he loves Marta.
What information is limited to specific CR?: Mostly a lot of feelings things.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: That he spoke to the Jabberwhelp and can speak to other animals, that he aims for power due to a bet, that he wants to better the world for the natives and shardless.

Yes! I would seriously love that. He really got a good impression of Minako as someone who values friendship a lot which is really all the requirement you need with Emil to be considered a good person. So he'd be really excited to work with her. Any particular initiatives you're looking at with her?

well, on her end, she's still starting off and has basically been sent over there to set up surveillance to find out more about the anti-shardbearer activities. so she's going to set up there for a while to try and fix that up a bit.

Oh excellent he'll be trying to scout out that too. June is when he's really starting off on Treun. Is that an okay date to maybe have them run into each other or would you prefer something else? c:

Sometime soon Muscovy and Emil need to finalize their trade of fairy against knitted things.

And maybe he can purchase one or two more tamed beings from him during the timeskip?

That sounds good to me! I can set-up something if you'd like for Emil and Muscovy to meet soon for the fairy. Anything in particular you'd like to arrange over the timeskip for trades?

Yes, that would be splendid - as soon as possible would be best as mu tagging will be erratic at best during March.

Hm, Muscovy would want some being to cuddle and sleep with and such - something dog-like maybe, or even like... just a being that is large enough that he won't squish it in his sleep, but small enough that a kid with superior strength could still handle it if worse comes to worst?
Annnd something small (because he isn't large himself) but fast to ride on?

He's able to offer knitted things and all kinds of herbs that he gathers somewhere in the drabwurld. But he can try to trade those things in for something else to pay for the animals, too.

The most important question re: Emil talking to animals. Can he talk to dogs, inquiring Chosen want to know.

But really, she's probably going to be more or less joined to the hip with him and Lloyd anyway so. There is going to be plotting and shenanigans. After the initial Talk because that will certainly be a Thing all its own. I figure she would absolutely be down for helping orphanages though, not to mention sparring/learning magic if it means better ways to defend herself and protect her friends as well.

After party fighting dear god........ I hope they can become sort of friends because of fighting. Because tbh Hyde will start to like him in some weird way out of respect for strength and love of fighting and being an asshole. Especially if they ever talk about their nice personalities being foolish fools.

Travelling around a lot really! He's going to be scoping out locations for clinic, so lots of opportunity for neutral ground there. He's mainly stationed at the 9th spire for now, but yeah, travel. Around Nimh Glaem, the Station, further down towards Daonna...
