Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

General overview of recent events: He's quite green, so he hasn't done much except ask for and follow orders (participating in the battle against the Seelie; guarding a caravan, etc)

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: Thrall -- they're from the same world and Thrall leads Koltira's faction.
What notable events has my character been a part of?: Just the big fight against the Seelie so far.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: He's an elf, he's undead, he carries a big sword, his teeth are pointy.
What information is limited to specific CR?: He was enslaved to a evil entity of hideous power for the last ten years; he just escaped a second enslavement by a slightly less evil and slightly less empowered entity
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: Not much.

SOMEONE DID he's quite curious ... but concerned that they would try to kill him, since he looks so permanently under the weather.

WELL she is an exile and generally mistrusts most other elves but is more likely to talk to a shardbearer than a native, considering! She's travelling with a shardbearer elf right now but if he played his cards right she would tell him some information about her people, the aellyn c:!

THEN YOU CAN HAVE A VAGUELY HORRIBLE ELF-FRIEND. She just has a general distaste towards elves that might relate to her people, but I'm sure he'll win her over somehow. Maybe.

Then this is a plan! Lauralae will be heading North of as late August when the breakdown of Drabbish means she has issues talking to her awkward sharded ally, so maybe sometime around then? Just let me know what works for you \o/

After Koltira finishes his quest, Saber will offer to bring him into the Unseelie military as an officer to be stationed at whatever Spire he would like. All of the Spires have Aellyn elves helping with construction, should he wish to look into the native elves.

Interesting! He'll want to divide that time with looking out for Thrall's outpost, but he'd be glad to be on the rotation.

Nimh Gleanne will be part of one of the officer's areas if you'd like him to have that one. I'm planning on dividing up Dorchadas and surrounding Unseelie areas into zones using the Spires as focal points, so I can accommodate having Koltira oversee the area where the outpost would be located.

Yes; sadly his blood is a curdled river. He'd be happy to assist Vol'jin, though -- a friend of Thrall's is a distant and not entirely hostile acquaintance of his!

Obligatory do you need help being directed to anything in-game? Rin knows a lot of people and could direct him accordingly. I'm just blanking on personal ideas between them save for stuff that involves Thrall.

YOU GIVE ME THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE-!! Elves are primarily Seelie and the plot was wrapped up with some folks who dropped recently (weeps)

While she did attend a holiday party there with Waver as his second, the people who invited them... are no longer there. However Aragorn is speaking to Waver and possibly Rin, so I caaaan try to work something in. I know there used to be an airship trade route that is no longer possible/up for grabs if it's still there, but they are going through a change of leadership right now so.

If I see something, I will definitely throw it to you in AIM/Plurk ;A;
