Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

• She's been openly seen with Kelsi Neilson in the past, has referred to her as her 'Bard'.
  
• There is a very vague rumor, originating from the Station, that Saber was courting Sansa Stark before the war was rekindled.

• Spire Projects
Saber is working with the barons and coordinating with other Unseelie to get the Spires completed as quickly as possible.

• Magictech R&D
A special, hush-hush project kept from Seelie eyes to research ways to integrate magic and technology so it can be used outside of the Station, for the good of the Unseelie people (and the good of the military). A Google Doc will be created for this.

• Military Expansion
Saber wants to integrate more shardbearers formally into the military as either officers with troops under their command or as part of a special strike team geared toward dealing with Seelie dragons/monsters/non-humanoids.

• The King is Dead, Long Live the King
With Reul being put out of commission by those dirty Seelie, Saber will be ruling in his stead as the Winter King. Any Unseelie political stuff can be thrown at her to see what sticks.

• Treun Tourney
Saber will be openly cheering for Rin Tohsaka, notably NOT taking part in the melee, but will be participating in the joust under disguise, going by the name Wart.

• Treun Fires
Saber will attempt to put the city in her debt by using her Noble Phantasm to put out the fires and save the Garden District from destruction.

• Iron Chef: Drabworld
As a fundraiser to pay for repairs to the Station, Saber and Waver Velvet will be organizing a special cooking competition, open to any resident of the Drabwurld.

That can come up after Rin finds out about it, unless the info that Saber brutalized Kayneth, without specifics, comes to his attention before Rin tells him about the crest. Other than that, I'm not sure WHEN it will happen.

Saber knows Alice is alive, so she's giving her space for the moment (and dealing with her own shit), but after the 25th, Saber will probably be looking at her locket again.

yo, so! basically, i'd love for zuko to get involved with the unseelie military! (the mods told me that he wasn't chosen for a spire as they thought it'd be best if he was groomed as a general instead of being tied to one particular position/place) and since icly saber is the person to go to for this, i was wondering if that would be cool to pursue with you? i figured i'd start laying down the groundwork for it since it's one of my timeskip hopes and dreams, and figured i'd approach you about it!

and he also knows stuff about dragons -- even that the seelie have one -- but though i sort of want to keep him away from it as i think he'd just complicate anything you plot wrt taking them out, he has a plethora of info from his home world about them! and he and sokka are investigating dragons in the drabwurld, so, he can assist with some info there? and he also has one ...

he also hates reynard the fox, so, i think these guys are overdue in the whole lets trash talk that pos department.

and if you need assistance with any fires, zuko is there for you to use!

I'm definitely interested in having Zuko groomed for a more prominent military position. I plan on putting a general military log up in my timeskip for April(I think) where she'll be actively recruiting. Zuko is on her radar and she does want to see what he's been doing in Azure.

Do you have plans on sending Zuko to Treun's wreath festival? Saber's going to be there and use her noble phantasm to put out the fires in the Garden District to save it, but I was thinking it can be worked into an attempt to ease anti-shardbearer sentiment by getting a team of Unseelie shardbearers to take care of it.

and yes! he's attending for the cultural things he can learn about the drabwurld. and i know zuko and i would be interested in that! my other guys aren't into the anti-shardbearer stuff, but it seems like something zuko would want to get into since ... shardbearers aren't all that bad. if she wants to recruit him, he won't say no!

Wait two is two things okay anyway Emil would totally participate in Iron Chef. Cooking is like... his only amazing skill. But secondly he's going to be trying to get in good with Treun too but he's also... a really nice kid so he'd probably want to help Saber with that rather than one-up her or anything. He's Seelie though.

And any can participate in Iron Chef. As for Treun... we'll have to see. I've decided to turn the Treun fires thing into a diffusing anti-shardbearer sentiment, so she might be willing to let Seelie help if they're useful, but she might not.

Rin will have a lot of trouble with her being the Winter King at first because she's a petty little girl, but I think over time she'll warm up to the idea. It's just hard to come off as neutral if she's being pulled along by the Unseelie sit in, but I think at this point she's starting to accept she'll never be able to be pure neutral due to her ambitions.
