Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Saber will encourage turning Ellie's Spire into a military base as it is the front-line spire, but remind her that the people in the Nimh Gleanne area need to be supported, their villages rebuilt and people's needs seen to.

Though Saber's eagle will only be hanging out with Ellie for February, returning to her at the end of the month, when the new golden eagles from Maupertius are old enough to be taken from their nests, she will give Ellie her own (non-white normal looking) golden eagle to train. She can spend some time with Ellie teaching her the basics of falconry if this is something you're interested in.

It would be pretty cool if Ellie could get some advice from Sabor about seeing to people's needs as she really only knows how the military does it back home and that's... no good. I think she runs the risk of being to idealistic to avoid that situation.

And omg Ellie wants an eagle so bad. She would so be up for some lessons in falconry.

Between Saber and Ellie's vampire mentor, I think they can help her get set on the right track. Maybe some lessons from Ariadne, Beatrix and Vanessa?

Consider the eagle yours! I have just have to do some ooc research to find out when the birds are traditionally take to begin training.
